About

Everything will change is a little piece of reassurance in a time full of strong opinions and unsolicited advice.

When expecting my first kiddo, I was surprised by some of the warnings that were thrown my way.

“Things are going to change. You’ll never do this. You’ll never do that.”

While all were meant in good fun, each was a little more unnerving than the last.

Once our son was born, I looked back at the warnings through a new lens; sure, life had changed; life would never be the same … but not in the way they had warned.

I wrote Everything Will Change in a notebook when my son was just a few months old as a positive narrative to myself. Each parent I've shared it with since has encouraged me to share it further, so here we are.

I hope it shines some light on your day, or the day of someone you love.
